Information we may collect

How and why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange introductions and appointments, administer memberships and bookings, take payments, provide safe coaching, maintain business records and communicate about Claymore services. We rely on contractual necessity, legal obligations, legitimate interests and consent as appropriate. Where we use health information, we do so only where a valid condition for processing special-category data applies.

WodBoard and other service providers

Our enquiry forms, class timetable, bookings, memberships, waivers and some communications are provided through WodBoard. When you follow one of those links or use the embedded timetable, WodBoard may process your information for Claymore and under its own terms where applicable. You can read the WodBoard privacy policy.

We may also use trusted providers for website hosting, payments, email, SMS, professional advice and business administration. We share only the information reasonably required for them to provide those services or where the law requires us to do so.

How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide our services, resolve queries and meet legal, tax, insurance and safeguarding requirements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of record.

Cookies and website technology

The Claymore website does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Our hosting provider and embedded WodBoard timetable may use essential security or functionality technologies. WodBoard’s own policy explains its use of cookies when you use its services.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to certain uses, request portability and withdraw consent. These rights are subject to legal exceptions. Contact us using the details above if you would like to exercise a right.

Questions or complaints

Please contact hello@claymorecrossfit.co.uk first so we can help. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
